Radx Magazine Internship Program

Our internship program is designed to give students hands-on experience in creating and executing work in the field of their study. Under the guidance and support of our team, interns will learn how to accomplish development and execution of goals and products in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Create and design original print and digital materials
  • Adhere to brand style guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
  • Retouch and manipulate images to ensure high quality
  • Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and work with a wide variety of media
  • Collaborate with and take direction from the Creative Director to develop design concepts
  • Receive feedback from the Creative Director and make any necessary changes
  • Assemble final presentation material for printing as needed
  • Attend scheduled meetings and calls 

Requirements

  • Students pursuing a Graphic Design as a major are preferred
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
  • Have understanding of InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work

Responsibilities

  • Assist photographer with equipment and tasks
  • Organize and go through shots 
  • Retouch and manipulate images to ensure high quality
  • Assist in all aspects of video and product photography production
  • Assist in the process of shooting and editing
  • Gather video content and shoot photographs
  • Contribute to creating high-quality photography
  • Collaborate and decide on strategy and direction of content 

Requirements 

  • Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premier Pro
  • Students pursuing a Digital Media as a major are preferred
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other design fundamentals
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
  • Compelling Photo/videography portfolio

Responsibilities

  • Transcribe interviews for accuracy and repurposing 
  • Pitch and write impactful features relating to arts and culture
  • Properly conduct research and outreach related to stories
  • Develop interview questions and conduct interviews 
  • Receive feedback from the Editor and make appropriate edits as needed
  • Assemble final presentation material for printing as needed

Requirements

  • Students pursuing an english or communications degree preferred. 
  • Meet deadlines that are mutually agreed upon
  • Have an understanding of and adhere to AP Style guidelines
  • Have an understanding of SEO
  • Have a personable demeanor and work well with others
  • Have a clear understanding of fact-based articles
  • Have a compelling portfolio or pass a screening test

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development and execution of social campaigns
  • Monitor and organize social media accounts 
  • Create and manage content calendar
  • Research creative assets
  • Respond to general inquiries, proactively outreach, and build engagement
  • Maintain brand style guidelines and adapt as needed
  • Recognize intriguing and relevant information to share

Requirements

  • Must have a solid working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. 
  • Students pursuing a major in digital communications or related marketing/comms preferred 
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of social media analytics like SEO and reporting 
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Image/video editing software skills preferred
  • Familiar with current marketing trends
  • Comfortable with creating content and engaging other team members to execute marketing initiatives
